Upcoming Deadlines
- The deadline for turning in your first instructor paper has passed. You can still talk to us about turning it in, but with a penalty.
- Mid-term evaluations for both students and instructors are due Oct. 17th
- Keep in mind that final papers (instructors) and final evaluations (instructors and students) will be due at the end of the semester. Don't let the deadline sneak up on you!
What's with this "login" thing?!
You may notice to the right there is a little login thingy, and you can make a new account, and so on. Well, we've been thinking that it would be pretty good to generate some discussion around the ExCo. As a result, this website will have forums, FAQs, etc - content you can help us create to make for a more informative website and for a smoother-running organization. For now, this feature is somewhat under construction. You should be able to create an account, log in, comment on pages, and write a blog if you so desire.
You might think the blog is a useless idea. Though we're still working on making the best of features available to this site, a blog is a pretty powerful thing. As an instructor, you can post class notes for people to look at. As a student, you could, potentially, keep a class-related journal on this site.
In any case, you are free to experiment with the few features we have around now, and we'll keep you posted as there is more to unveil.
Other Recent Happenings
- As you can see, we've unveiled a new website. It marks a renewed effort to focus on being available and responsive.
- If you got a chance to come to this semester's fair, you probably saw a digital chart of excos. This is only a small part of the improved organization of the exco's workings - more to come on this website.
